Pottery Barn NorthPark

Location: NorthPark Center, Dallas, TX | Client: Interior Architects

Pottery Barn NorthPark was VLMK’s very first project for Williams Sonoma Inc. (WSI) with the Interior Architects (IA) team. Since beginning this partnership over a year ago, VLMK has collaborated with IA on projects across multiple WSI brands, including Pottery Barn Kids, Rejuvenation, GreenRow, Williams Sonoma, West Elm, and of course Pottery Barn. This project marks the first of nineteen that are currently being worked on for IA and WSI.

Located in the high-end NorthPark Center at the heart of Dallas, Texas, this job consisted of a 16,000 square foot tenant improvement for a new PB retail store. The space includes a large open sales floor as well as a back-of-house storage area.

One of the unique challenges of this project was working with the landlord’s restriction against adding any major attachments to the existing structure above. We used a suspended Unistrut grid system that supports the tops of non-load bearing walls, steel columns, and other interior elements without relying on direct attachments to the overhead ceiling.

The project was led by Justin Elliott and Zandin Burke with essential CAD support from Amber Simpliciano.
